Language Masters Class Implementation Guidelines

Welcome to Language Masters, where we break language barriers and unleash your potential. We are here to guide you every step of the way. Please read through this Class Implementation Guideline to better understand how we can make your language learning journey enjoyable and effective!

General Enrollment Flow

Class Confirmation

  • Upon receipt of payment, Language Masters shall send a class confirmation email containing the class kit to the student via the registered email address. Please ensure that the email address that you provided on the enrollment form is correct.
  • The Class Kit will include the class link, the name of the assigned teacher, class schedule, class start date and other important information about your enrolled class so please make sure to read through this document once received.

Start of Class Procedure

  • Students are required to log in to the designated platform within 10 minutes from the scheduled class start time.
  • Ensure that your device's camera and microphone are functioning properly.

Registration to Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Upon successful enrollment, students will receive login credentials for the Language Masters Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Follow the provided instructions to login into your account and access course materials. (Kindly note that some courses are not provided with LMS access)
  • Familiarize yourself with the LMS interface to access course content, assignments, and resources.
  • Student accounts for the LMS are non-transferable. Each account is intended for use by the registered student only and cannot be shared or transferred to others.

Collection of Personal Data

  • During enrollment, students are required to provide personal information such as name, email address, residential address, and telephone number.
  • Language Masters ensures the confidentiality and secure handling of all personal data.

Class Performance Monitoring System

  • During enrollment, students are required to provide personal information such as name, email address, residential address, and telephone number.
  • Language Masters ensures the confidentiality and secure handling of all personal data.
  • For Overall Grades: 70%
  • Passing mark for each quiz and exam: 50% of the total score
  • Please refer to your class kit for the overall grade computation as this differs on the course you enroll.
  • Teachers will schedule periodic one-on-one consultations with students to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide individualized feedback.
  • Consultations may be conducted through video calls, emails, or other agreed-upon communication channels.

Class Absence Policy​

  • In the event of a planned absence, students must notify Language Masters by sending an email to studentsupport@languagemasters.jp or informing the teacher. For those enrolled in a Private 1-on-1 Class your end date will be automatically moved.
  • In the event of a planned absence, students must notify Language Masters by sending an email to studentsupport@languagemasters.jp or informing the teacher.
  • For those enrolled in a group Class, your absence will be deducted to your remaining hours if the class is conducted (your classmates attended the class). You may refer to the recordings of the class session for any missed class sessions
  • Your remaining hours will not be deducted if the class session itself is cancelled and your end date will be automatically moved.
  • There will be no classes during Japan's declared public holidays, as well as the periods of “Obon “holidays in August for 2 weeks and the year-end and year-start holidays which usually starts from December 24.
  • Refer to the academic calendar or your teacher will inform you in advance for specific dates.

Distribution of Instructional Materials to the Student

  • Teachers may send instructional materials or other relevant documents to the registered email address of the student. Students are advised to check their email.
  • Students may download copies of the instructional materials available in the LMS.
  • The instructional materials are intended for use exclusively within Language Masters. They are not to be shared, transferred, or used by any other educational institutions, organizations, or individuals without explicit written permission from Language Masters.
  • The distribution of instructional materials within Language Masters is permitted for educational purposes only. Materials may be shared among teachers, administrators, and students within the Language Masters community.
  • Violation of these guidelines may result in legal action, including but not limited to the pursuit of damages and injunctive relief. Individuals found guilty of unauthorized distribution may also face disciplinary actions within Language Masters.

Feedback and Evaluation​

  • Teachers will provide regular feedback on student performance, including strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Students will have the opportunity to evaluate the course and the teacher at the end of each term to help improve the quality of instruction.
