The N3 course is ideal for those aiming to achieve a solid intermediate level of Japanese proficiency. At this level you can engage in more in-depth conversations, understand detailed instructions, and read more complex texts. Successfully completing the N3 opens more job opportunities, especially since many positions in Japan, particularly customer-facing roles, require at least JLPT N3 certification.
Vocabulary: The N3 Exam covers approximately 3,750 vocabulary words. These words are chosen to help you navigate a wider range of conversations and written materials. You will learn more advanced nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, allowing you to express yourself with greater precision and nuance.
Kanji: N3 level includes 650 kanji characters. These characters cover a broad spectrum of topics and are frequently used in newspapers, books, official documents, and everyday signage. Mastering these kanji will enable you to read and comprehend more complex texts and instructions.
Reading: You will be able to read and understand more detailed passages on a variety of topics written in intermediate-to-advanced-level kanji. You will study complex grammar points, such as advanced sentence structures, relative clauses, and nuanced expressions. The course focuses on improving your ability to read and comprehend longer essays, articles, and formal letters.
Listening: The listening component of the course trains you to understand conversations and speeches spoken at a natural speed. You will learn to pick up key information from discussions on a wide range of topics, including social interactions, news reports, and instructional dialogues. This includes understanding subtle cues, context, and intent, allowing you to participate more effectively in diverse conversational settings.
